Where are Zid Zid Kids products made?
We produce all of our items by hand in our Atelier in Marrakech, Morocco, North Africa. This is where we have our showroom and art classes for kids as well; if ever in Marrakech, make sure to drop in for a glass of Mint Tea!

Why do I see differences in products? 
Our product is not a factory made one, but a people made one. Due to the high hand made aspect of our products, no two products are alike. We see this as a plus and as a company; we embrace the differences found as this is the art of the handmade.

Do you utilize Fair Trade practices?
We only utilize fair trade practices and pay fair wages to our team. Our team is small, but important to everything we do. They are our collaborators, our cutters, our sewers, our packers, our eyes, our hand and are the heart of everything Zid Zid.

What kind of materials do you use and where do they come from?
We use as many all natural and recycled materials as possible and we source everything locally! We search the Marrakech & Casablanca marketplace for the materials that go into our product line.

Our Fabrics
Our printed fabrics are reclaimed remnants from large factories in Marrakech and Casablanca. Co-founder Julie Klear heads out to the Souks to hand choose each print carefully. Our brushed cotton flannel is produced in Europe and available locally. This fabric is traditionally used to make the long iconic djellabas that Moroccan men and women wear.

The item you receive might not match exactly as the product photo. Please note this is not a defect, it confirms you have truly a one of a kind!

Our Fillings
We use polyfil inside our Animal Cushions, Blocks and Dolls. On any Poof order, should you want it shipped filled, we fill them with 100% recycled cotton.

All the sizes of our products are listed in inches.  

Ordering Terms and Conditions

We produce all Zid Zid items to order in our Marrakech Atelier unless it is in stock here in our Atelier. Our production turn around time is approximately 2-4 weeks depending on size of your order. We will make every effort to communicate the production time for your order. And know your items will be made with lots of love...
Shipping & Delivery
Order shipping time from Marrakech takes approximately 2-4 weeks transit time. Shipping and handling charges for each shipment are calculated by the product weight, size, final destination and method of shipping.

We ship via Poste Maroc directly from our Atelier in Marrakech, Morocco to anywhere in the world (except for P.O. boxes!).  The shipping time from Morocco is an estimated 2-4 weeks. We know this is long in a world of fast turnaround, but Africa is far from the rest of the world, please keep this in mind when shopping with us and we appreciate you waiting for our items!

Should you need an item sooner, we will be happy to provide you with an air shipment option + quote. Please contact us at with any questions about shipping rates.

Upon placement of order, please check your confirmation email to ensure that the "ship-to-address" is correct. If there is an error, please contact us immediately. Once a package has been shipped, we will be unable to re-direct your order and additional shipping charges will apply if an order needs to be re-shipped.

Please note that we are not responsible for lost packages and we will do everything in our power to help locate any lost packages but will not be able to refund any packages that are lost in the mail.

International Customs
At the time the package is delivered, it may also incur a customs clearance charge as well as local and country-wide taxes which vary, but can average around twelve percent of the total sale.

Forms of Payment
We accept major credit cards: MasterCard, Visa and American Express. At this time, we are not PayPal enabled.

Secure Server
Our shopping cart uses LinkPoint which features SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial services information or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browser windows during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time LinkPoint asks for a credit card number during checkout for payment, it will be SSL encrypted. We do not keep your credit card information on file.

Please inspect your order upon delivery and accept products that are only in good condition. Should an item arrive damaged, please follow instructions below.

Report Damaged Shipment
We take great care in inspecting and packing our products to arrive in perfect condition. If for some reason, your product is damaged, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt of order via email at We will email you a claims form which must be completed along with photographs of the damaged product. We are unable to process any claim without the completed claim form and accompanying photographs. Please keep the original item and all packing material. Upon receipt and review of the claims materials, we will replace the damaged product at no additional shipping cost. 

Returns & Exchanges
If for some reason you are unhappy with your purchase or would like to make an exchange, please contact us within  5 days from delivery date for a refund or exchange, less shipping. The product must be in its original condition and returned to us in the original packing. Please email for a return authorization prior to shipping the item back to us. All costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Please pack the item well and insure it for the full amount. We recommend shipping via FedEx. We are not responsible for lost packages. If you received a gift, your gift will be refunded for a store credit or the amount will be applied to the purchaser’s credit card. We do not offer cash refunds on gift purchases. All sales items are final and non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy
Orders must be canceled within 24 hours. Please contact us at to cancel your order.
Product Care
Our collection is 100% made by hand and made to last, but still delicate items to be well cared for. In order to fully enjoy the life of your Zid Zid Kids product, here are the best care instructions, listed by material:
* Fabric product line: please wash in the delicate cycle, cold water and air/line dry
* Faux leather product line: please wipe down gently with a soft, damp cloth
* Leather product line: please enjoy and let any stains give the product its own special ‘patina’
* Wall hangings: please dry clean only
As husband & wife designers and parents of two, safety is a first and foremost priority. We care passionately about what we do and this approach goes into the making of everything we do. We use all natural and recycled materials whenever possible and we utilize European safety guidelines when developing a new product. 
Privacy Policy
Zid Zid Kids will never sell, loan, rent or distribute any personal information to third parties under any circumstance, including the contact information of those who subscribe to our mailing list. We may notify you by email about special offers, events and products we think you would want to hear about.
